Watermark PDF adds visible text labels such as DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, or COPY across selected PDF pages. It is best for marking review copies, internal circulation documents, and pre-release materials before final distribution.
Watermarks communicate document status at a glance. A draft contract, internal budget, design proof, or training packet often should not be mistaken for the final approved version. Text watermarks solve that by overlaying a visible label across each page so recipients immediately understand how the file should be treated. This browser tool lets you enter custom watermark text, tune opacity so content remains readable, rotate the label diagonally if needed, and apply it to all pages or only selected ranges. Because processing happens locally, confidential drafts and client materials do not need to leave your device. Watermarks are visual overlays, not cryptographic protection; anyone with editing tools could remove them. Use watermarking for clarity and workflow labeling, not secure redaction. For image-based logo stamps, a future version may add image watermark support.
